Apple has launched a new iPhone series, the iPhone 13. The new device boasts a 15-nanometer A15 Bionic chip, a smaller notch, and a ProMotion display.

The iPhone 12 is the latest iPhone to be released by Apple. It features a 15% smaller notch, an A15 Bionic chip, and ProMotion display.

Apple has officially unveiled the all-new iPhone 13 series, which will succeed the iPhone 12 series, which was released last year. With a more powerful A15 Bionic processor, better screens, enhanced cameras, and increased battery capacity, Apple says that the all-new iPhone 13 series is a significant improvement over the iPhone 12 series. The iPhone 12 series has four variants, including the iPhone 13 small, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max, same like previous year.

According to Apple, the A15 Bionic Chip supports a large number of 5G bands, allowing for better 5G coverage. The phones in the 13 series also have an IP68 certification, which means they can be immersed in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 6 meters. Let’s take a closer look at these smartphones and go through each feature one by one, beginning with the display.

The iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 include 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR screens with Dolby Vision and HDR compatibility, respectively. These OLED Super Retina XDR displays are among the brightest in the industry, with a maximum brightness of 1200 nits and a brightness of over 800nits at only 28% brightness. Ceramic Shield technology, which was also featured on the iPhone 12 series, is still present on these screens.

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, on the other hand, have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED Super Retina XDR screens with support for ProMotion, Dolby Vision, and HDR, respectively. They are also the first iPhones to offer a faster refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screens on the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max are considerably brighter, with a brightness rating of 1000 nits at only 25%.

Performance

The A15 Bionic Chip, which is claimed to be the most powerful chip on a smartphone, powers the phones. Each A15 Bionic Chip contains over 15 billion transistors and a new 6-core CPU with two high-performance cores and four efficiency cores, according to Apple. These processors, according to the smartphone behemoth, are 50 percent quicker than their major rivals and the quickest chip in any smartphone to date.

Cameras

The cameras in the iPhone 13 series, according to Apple, are much superior than those on the iPhone 12 series. The new wide camera in the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini is the largest sensor ever utilized in an iPhone dual-camera system, according to Apple, and it can capture great photos in low light. Both of these versions include Sensor-shift OIS, which was first introduced in the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max models last year.

The wide camera on the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max has also been greatly enhanced, and it can now capture pictures up to 2.2 times better than the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max cameras. The Ultra-Wide Camera has also been upgraded, and it can now take pictures in low light situations up to 92 percent better. The Ultra-Wide lens now has autofocus, which is a first for an iPhone.

iPhone 13 features

Both camera modules include Cinematic Mode, which enables you to capture movies of your loved ones in Dolby Vision HDR with an outstanding looking depth effect. The iPhone 13 series also has ProRes technology, a sophisticated video codec format that provides less compression and more color fidelity and is often used for commercials, broadcasts, and feature films.
